I know Martin uses it on some of their lower priced guitars. My fear with is mainly caused by Epi/Gibson using it is more to do with the craziness in the Gibson camp with their materials over the last few years, and with the incredible obeche (or whatever it was called which recommended use is for kindling) shrinking fretboard disaster I wouldn't really trust them to get it right when trying something new.

The 13 year old in me still loves the look of this one. The version I saw of it before had blocks and binding like the LP custom.

That thing looks nice, but if they can use rosewood on an Epi LP Standard, why can't they use it on this thing that costs $200 more?
