Looks fantastic, Westy.
Good to see outside of a Fender photo shoot that it's indeed a proper creamy shell pank at that. Very John Squire!

The burgundy is nice, but I don't get the hype, personally. They still look like cheap strats to me If it's just about the colors I'd honestly take an SX over one of these for 1/3 the price...or maybe an Xaviere...all pretty much the same quality...

Only thing is I don't like the headstock on the SX or Xaviar. I had a gift certificate so it only cost $129 for the guitar. The newest version of the Squier Affinitys are pretty nice from what I have heard. They have Alder bodies a three ply pickguard and a new headstock logo. It has always been hard to find a Fender(or tele) in Shell Pink. It's not a popular color so they one produce them in small numbers compared to other colors. When I called Sweetwater the one that I bought was actually the only one they got(they said they are getting more). All the other colors look good too. I'd love to have one of each.

Neck width: 40.6mm / 1.6". That sounds very good to me.

I always liked that color because my grandparents owned a Shell Pink Desoto when I was a kid.

I don't know if it's the angle of the pictures, but it looks like they've improved the arm contouring on the Affinities as well.
God damn it, I love Squier.

I got it today. I love it. It still has affinity specs:slightly thinner body and the fretboard is narrower at the nut. But this made in China version is made well.It has good tuners and the electronics are decent(but the pickups are ceramic). Mine was perfect out of the box the set up was great just had to tune it.
