That's cool. I would really like red tort though if I could find it.

I think you are either going to have to have a custom pickguard made or expand the pickup cavity of an existing pick guard.

Found this one, looks good in the pic but at that price it has me thinking it some cheap print.

May want to check out warmouth.

Yeah. I think I'm just gonna get a custom guard cut. I don't see any 62 ri guards in red tort except that one and the price has me wondering.

Mounting ring or no mounting ring? I'm kinda liking it more without one.

Without. It looks...cluttered with a pickup ring. Structurally I guess you don't need it either (I'm assuming Gibsons had them because the pickups needed to be lifted up off the surface of the body to be close enough to the strings?).

I'm gonna go without. The pickguard is pretty expensive. $78.00 all together and nitro. So I rather make it look stock, not modded. Plus pickup rings are always an after thought, I can easily install them later for looks.

I am the least hating person there is, you just made your guitar more ugly in my opinion if that is so bothersome to you don't ask for opinions on the internet.
I've liked most the stuff you have done actually.
