I feel like this topic comes up every 3 months or so and that one of these many threads should just get stickied.

On topic, I go from 9:10:11 gauge from 25.5:23.75:24 scale length. Only the shortscale gets flatwounds with an wound g.

I have D'Addario Chromes 11-50 on my Jag since GC only had 11s and 12s when I wanted 10s, but I love the 11s right now. They even intonated perfectly when I checked it out (after moving the G saddle of course).

After using Elixirs for ages, dropped a set of these on my jag, and it became alive again... quite surprised.

I just put on some D'addario 11-52s and I miss having a wound 3rd. I'll probably go back to flats with my next change. I have some 11-50 D'addario Chromes hanging around.

Love how they describe 13s as "medium gauge".
My Fender flatwound 11s say "extra light" on the package. :)

Always used these on shortscales, XL .10s on my Maverick and all other full-scale guitars.

These are on my Jag:

They sound good, and I like the feel I get from them playing-wise.
