Why would you not figure out a way to do the original headstock shape? Next to the offset body, it is easily the most unique and coolest parts of the starcaster.

Paddle headstock neck? Then cut that to size.

I just took out a $14k loan for a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang. Ill just use one of the necks I have now.

I consider vintage cars a hobby, sorry for the confusion. I love vintage cars as much as the next guy but I'm not taking out a loan to buy something that old.
If I'm going into debt for anything, it's not going to be for anything vintage, it's going to be for a new car that I know I can get a decade of use out of.

hell the car I OWN is considered vintage.. at least acording to my insurance, and really thats the only place where i care

When I was 18, I drove a BMW M3
I paid close to $300/month to insure it.
