Unfortunately you're not pasting the whole URL - it ends in "/" so that's not an image file. You need to right-click on the image and choose "Copy image URL" or some such. It will give you a URL that ends in a JPEG filename ("filename.jpg"), like this:

http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2855/9344 ... 61394f.jpg

Then the image tags will work:

Is that a treble bleed resistor on your volume pot. I can't make it out in the pic. I did that to my start and it made it sound like shit.

For any kind of humbucker, you're going to want to use 500k or 1meg. The lower you go, the muddier it will get. If you're using 1 megs and they're too muddy, you need to either look at the cap you're using, the amp, or the pickups. However, I don't think it is the pickups, so I'm pretty confident you have a cap issue.

Out of curiosity, are you adjusting your amp from the tele to the jagmaster? Amp setting make a big difference and just because you like the setting for a tele does not mean it's going to sound great with a Les Paul.

Thank you for all of your feedback. I am switching to the 500k pots. I believe these are large single coils, not humbuckers .Good news, I believe I have pin pointed the issue. I didn't think about playing it not plugged in. It was totally muffled. The chap I had set up the guitar did a real lousy job. I spent about an hour with it last night adjusting the action, and bridge, tremolo, etc. The Jagmaster now rings brighter. Sorry to lead you all down the wrong rabbit hole. And I really appreciate all of the kind help.

The big issue now is how do I get in touch with the help desk of this site, or a moderator? I still can not upload images. I have signed up for the uploader but Im still not approved, etc.
