you have to be careful with some of those old tiesco types, some of the necks have NO taper at all to the neck so the nut and the butt are the same width, so with a fender type bridge the strings would most likely be hanging off the side of the neck.

Have to say I love that feature on my Guyatone. For small hands the taper is a major pain.
