Can't anyone get those tones with a decent tube amp and overdrive?
I guess not everyone has/wants those things?

But do they have it in stock? And if they say they do, do they REALLY? My daughter just got burnt ordering stuff (headphones) from GAK for Christmas. They're still showing stuff in stock, 2-3 days delivery when you order, then they send you an email saying it'll be January some time. She went back and looked again and it's still showing stock. Crap.

NOT EVERYONE CAN HANDLE THE SHEER POWER OF TEH DUMBLOID!
I'd actually like to hear this EH pedal, however unfortunate the name is.

It says "please phone" so I would assume they don't have it in stock. I've never had any issues with GAK but that sounds pretty shite tbh. Especially around Christmas time when they would know the chances are you need them for a particular date.

This pedal has already generated over 70 pages on TGP, great read! All of the Klonspiracy people are dismissing it as inferior and everyone else is saying "it sounds exactly like it!"
Hilarious comments over there.

Why do mods lock down threads past 1k?
the old servers we were on didn't handle threads with over 1000 post count well. The admins asked we close and start new threads after 1000 posts. Don't know if that applies to the new servers that the forum has moved to. Maybe an admin could interject here.
Their Mods don't even know what their server can handle!

This appears at the end of those videos www.klon-siberia.com

Still don't get what all the fuss about this/these pedals from the demos I've heard of all the incarnations/clones on the interweb but having never played one maybe I'm missing something.

The Klon sounds a little better from that demo but neither sounds like something I would be interested in.

That is interesting. He doesn't come across as a douche like I expected him to do, either.

My only issue is: why did he wait for so many years to try to build the KTR? That story of spending years selling hard-and-costly-to-build pedals just sounds like he was making life hard for himself. I don't doubt the KTR sounds the same at a more reasonable RRP, but Finnegan could've saved himself a lot of trouble by trying out that approach sooner. Seems like a bit of an obvious mistake to make, considering how so much talent went into the original design. What am I missing here?
