Personally every green guitar I have I kind of regret getting. The color gets old to me. Except the seafoam green Sonoran I have.

Get that weird Krylon ocean aqua color. Pretty positive it's what the jazzblaster in the for sale section is painted in if you want an example. I painted a Tele in it and loved it. Just didn't care for the Tele because the bridge holes were a tad off. Last time I buy a cheap body of eBay.

Have you tried looking through the colours on the offsetguitars.com dressing room. The colours are limited to existing colours but you could try out some of the more unusual fender colours to get an idea of what you want? I kinda like the Teal Green

So, i've done it. I took a deep green. And it looks amazing. :-)

I will get cv duosonic pickups from ross. Then i need a mustang control plate. The jazzbass control plate does not look good on it. When i get the controlplate, i can start doing the pickguard...

Thin that pickguard out. It looks puffy on that body

Definitely my favourite greens. LPB faded green is absolute sex.

pickguard gets tortoise. this is only a paper-template. do you think, it does not fit the body?

When i use a mustang controlplate, i think i have to go downwards with the pickguard.

Here a better photo.

Pickguard looks fine to me

Maybe the tort will reduce the perceived lack of fit. I look at the LINES of the pickguard, and it works, but when I zoom out to look at the whole thing, it looks fat.

The shape looks right to me. Tort would look great, as would white pearl.
