Probably piss a lot of people off by saying this, but if they would use the tailpiece from the hardtail Squier Jaguars and Jazzmasters it would work really well. In fact I think it works better than a Mustang bridge if you don't need to use the reverb handle.

There was one of these on ebay over here for a while with its OG case for £850. Wanted it sooo bad, basically my excalibur. One day.
