Nice.

You should do the whole thing in black IMHO.

I got to ask, how much did you fork over for it?

i will always have the pictures as memories, including one of the lead singer holding the guitar just after it was signed

reaching the finish line slowly, i have to find some mounting screws for the pickups, total nightmare as bass pickup mounting screws seem too long, and the standard mounting screws aren't quite long enough. it sounds like a 1 3/4" self tapping screw would be perfect, but finding the proper OD of the screw and tracking down a source on line is a pain in the ass. the top is nice and smooth now, it is clear that there was some paint on the top before because of the fading, but I think it has a nice quirky look to it.

We decided to only go with the ring on the bridge pickup, the neck looks funny with it and I think the bridge ring blends nicely with the new guard. Basically now it is just wiring it up, and tracking down various small hardware bits that always get lost in the shuffle, and aging some bits here and there to match up aesthetically...

A bigsby would go a long way I think in covering up that colour difference.

just got it back, waiting for the local guitar shop to get a truss cover in, but it sounds great, i really love the 60's p90 in the bridge. I am having some troubles with garageband but will try to get some clips tomorrow, until then...

Quick run through, still not a fan of running I rig with simulated amps in garage band but what can you do. Bridge/both/neck, clean/bixonic expandora/re150 space echo, dodgy tuning by a clip on tuner, dodgy playing by yours truly.

And some pentatonic wank with an ehx stereo talking machine...
