Worth mentioning that Iron Butterfly uses the same model in tobacco sunburst color on In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. So this guitar has got double allure and it's not exclusively a Cobain poseur guitar.
Iron Butterfly played mostly Mosrites and this guitar is Mosrite copy. Do you have a link to this video.

That doesn't look like a similar quality build to me at all...the body looks smaller and the bevel around the outside is a hard edge, pickguard is wrong (and slightly funny looking), standard boring humbuckers, recessed neck bolts, angled headstock instead of Fender style, etc. Not saying that it's a bad guitar---if they were sold in the US I might get one---or that the Eastwood is worth the extra, but IMO it looks like a cheap copy. I imagine they have.
One of my friends has a Harley Benton bass guitar, quite respected as one of the best bass players locally, he prefers his to his old Fenders.
Suppose it's hit and miss at times.
