If a guitar feels good to me, I couldn't care less what it says on the headstock. But if that's something that matters to you, that's your business, your money. You can expect to take a little heat for it around here, but it's all in good fun. Maintain a sense of humor and a thick skin and you'll get along just fine here.

As far as I know, all MIJ Mustangs have the vintage correct 7.25" radius.
You might want to check Ishibashi, a Japanese guitar retailer that does a lot of online business. I saw a used 69 reissue the other day that was about $375 USD (plus free shipping, I think). Not sure about your UK import taxes, but still might be worth it.
