The 65 Mustang is the best of the 3 guitars. If it's between the poo stang and the XII I'd def go for the Coronado. Plus if you decide 12 string isn't for you, a second hand Coronado neck isn't going to cost too much and it's a drop in replacement.
If you're really lusting for a 70s poo stang just bide your time, they pop up fairly regularly for decent prices. They're the cheapest ones you can get and rightly so. Bad ones can have any or all of the following: the extreme weight of them (especially for their size), the chewy finish the brittle laquer to the neck. Worst thing that the 70s ever shit out. Obviously they're not ALL shit, but they're def not a guitar to buy without trying out.

Nick has it right - there are some great 70s Fenders, but the QC was all over the place. My 73 Mustang is the best one I've ever played, but I understand the quality was still ok at that point.
What's the condition like? If it is still in mint condition after nearly 40 years, there is probably a reason why, it plays like shit.
Its a year younger than me, and I'm definitely showing some natural relicing - a little wear on the neck and laquer thinning.

I'd say the option of narrow '70s-style 12th fret dots, vintage radius/frets and one-piece maple construction and the ability to choose your profile for $195 from Musikraft is alright. Don't parted out MIJ necks start around $150-200ish on eBay? You can find cheaper but not like this one, hence the topic at hand... it'll look exactly right.

I also think the '65 is worth more. I don't think the tuners lower value that much, especially considering I don't think they have much tonal effect, plus you can get conversion bushings and install tuners that are closer to the original (plus newer tuners work better anyways).
Also, you can get '70s Mustangs cheaper than that one by a couple of hundred, o.k., maybe not quite as clean but close. There was one in the classified not long ago.
