While Daphne Blue was a custom color for the Mustang in the mid-60's, it is seen somewhat often. Personally I never get tired of seeing this color on 'surf' guitars. Below is a picture of Mustang's little brother.... the Musicmaster which is not often seen in 1966 wearing Daphne Blue. Not many Musicmasters were ordered in custom colors.

it was custom for other fenders, not for mustangs, Musicmaster or duo-sonic IIs. red, white and blue as standard.
