This is mental (in a good way). Would like to try one in the Superego FX loop or after a Freeze.

I'm kinda in that camp too really; I'd sooner buy a MIDI pickup and fancy interface for DOGSLASHBABYTOANS

Not really my thing either, I like my guitar to sound like a guitar. As I use synths n my computer for mad noises.... Does sound cool though.

many years ago when Jesus Jones were cutting edge Mike Edwards had one of the Roland guitar synth pickups on an Ibanez Iceman and I thought it was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen.
Ps: I thought dogslashbaby was a band you were talking about...

This thread indirectly scored me a Pog2 for my birthday. But now I have to leave the house for 3 days without trying it.
btw, HORRENDOUS paintjob on the white bit of it (sides and baseplate). Two chips and a fucking run. A quick google reveals this and trapped fluff/dirt is not entirely uncommon. I'd take the old massive tin taco over that any day.
And they ship to UK with allegedly no extra charges.

Having a pog/hog this isn't much use for me, but I have been trying to get that melotron sound for ages without luck

I think that's just going to require a guitar synth at this point.

Haha, WHAT. I thought the B9 was good stuff but the C9 is sort of perfect for me.
I have a POG1 but it's fucking BIG. I basically only use it now for either the organ sounds or the +1 octave. I also spilled a whole can of beer on it (and it still works) and snapped one of the sliders off (still works, just annoying) so it's not like I can sell it but it's probably time to retire it and replace it with something smaller....

I've been GAS-ing for a guitar synth a lot lately actually. I'm still undecided over whether to get an EHX micro synth, because I reckon one of those (or one of these) would be fun for bass as well. Or electric piano. Or anything else too. I thought these were just another gimmick, but you can run pretty much anything that makes a noise through 'em, right?

Of course. Get a little casio keyboard and a EHX C9/B9/Micro Synth and you have an organ or a synth.
