My swingin internet dick is about two inches of bedroom rocker and six inches of wasted money.

But yeah a p90 in the neck often pairs well with a stupid overwound dark monster in the bridge.

Took out the old Dually and push-pull pot.
Drilled a hole from the controls route to the tailpiece route for ground wire (STRESSFUL)
Replaced 500k p/p pot with 1 Meg pot, since I had no spare A500k's.
Installed Triple Shot and Detonator
Inhaled a few liters of solder fumes

DONE.

Guys, this pickup sounds AWESOME. I really expected it to sound way shitty, but it's totally rad. The output is just right to blend very smoothly with the neck pickup. The Triple Shot is also dope as fuck, and every guitar should have them.

Well, they're not conductive, so I had to drill a hole for a new ground wire that goes to the tailpiece instead of the bridge cup. I was insanely worried that I was going to drill through the body and out the back of the guitar, but it worked out fine. Apparently most Jazzies are grounded this way, so it may not be necessary for everyone.

They also are kind-of all-purpose saddles for Jazz, Jag, Mustang, etc, so they're not wide enough to sit snuggly together when the strings are appropriately spaced. Doesn't bother me.

BUT THE DOPE PART IS that they have adjustable height on each side (unlike the Mustang saddles the bridge had originally), so I could tilt the low E up higher on the side toward the A saddle, so now it doesn't pop out when played hard. This is the entire reason I bought them, so I'm totally satisfied. They were only $25, which is a steal compared to some of the replacement bridges out there that address this issue.

They're supposed to make a huge difference in tone, but I haven't really noticed it other than MAYBE some increased brightness. I also switched out the bridge pickup and replaced one of the pots with a 1 Meg, so that might have done that.
