Yeah, but his procedure was totally whack and I can't follow it. There was some other dude in that thread that did it clean, but he charges to do that mod so I don't think he's giving that step by step away for free.

Do people really buy VD-1s and pay to ship them back and forth to some guy they're paying to modify them?

Couldn't they like, buy a Big Muff or something?

Which Muff is the VD-1 based on? Because I liked it WAAAAAAY better than any Muff I've ever used, so maybe they have a point. Besides the terrible bypass, flimsy components and STI-related model number.
