Looks like a musical instrument of the 19th century and it seems that you don't have to be a skilled player to extract the jazz sounds out of it - everything is already in the guitar.

You have to be a skilled player to extract jazz sounds out of any instrument.

Great instrument. I just meant that sometime when you grab unfamiliar to you guitar you have that feeling, Edge said about it better when he described his Explorer. He said "I took it, played it and understood that there are songs in that guitar". When you look at this particular guitar it seems that you can play jazz easily without learning how to play.

And all of those songs featured enormous amounts of delay. And sounded mostly the same.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Chrome actually looks a bit out of place on this, even the tuners.

Still, beautiful instrument. I'll bet that first unplugged strum will be so satisfying

I was actually expecting black tuners, but looking over the spec list satin nickel was mentioned. They have kind of grown on me too, I'm planning on swapping the tune-o-matic for a compensated ebony bridge when the guitar arrives too which I think will offset the black bridge/nickel tuners difference.

I can't wait for the guitar to arrive, it's been a drag playing jazz gigs lately without a guitar set up properly for the genre. This is somewhat of a dream come true, and I feel really fortunate for everything to have fallen into place in order for me to afford it (combination of a new job and more gigs in my diary).

The guitar arrives on Monday, I decided to stump up the money for priority shipping to make sure it gets here before I head down to England for xmas.

Fingers crossed the tax bill isn't comedically high... Suffice to say I'm now in my overdraft until student loan day next term.

Yeah man, I'm a huge fan of Gilad. My guitar is pretty similar in spec to his latest guitar.

Forgot that the guitar has to go through customs. Hopefully will be on it's way to me in the next couple of days and fingers crossed the import comedy tax isn't too ridiculous.

What country is luthier from?

Just checked tracking, the guitar has been released from customs and is now at the fedex depot in London, should be shipped up north of the border pretty soon!
