I'm finally gearing up to finish my teardrop. FINALLY. I just need to do the damn finishing.

Both are loaded with solvents, it's how they work, paint is mixed with solvent, which keeps it as a liquid in the can, when you spray it the solvent evaporates and you are left with a painted surface. Jcyphe is right, the two together will be fine.
