Hmmm, are you daisychaining the power to everything? I wonder if turning-on the OD too is making the current draw higher than your PSU is able to happily supply? Digital fx can be quite current-greedy.
PRETTY SURE DOTMAN IS USING ONE OF THESE, SAME AS WE ALL DO:

ALL TIME LOW HELPFULNESS DOUG.
Actualyl, doug is right. I had to switch to using x4's own psu. Basically, if I want to use just one supply, it needs to be bigger.

Did you try emulating the power supply?

OLD MAN MEMORY MOMENT: oh yes, mine was like this too.
(try and pretend I posted that several hours ago - in my
slight defence, I think I posted that in my original thread about it).

Big digi delay pedals are known power (as well as pedalboard real estate) hogs. I parted with my vox delaylab for that very reason.

Sorry I missed this thread... I am a total delay-head. The Flashback X4 looks really cool. I'm happy to see it has a reverse setting and multiple mod settings.
However, I'm with Bacchus P on this one. I'm 100% happy with my Hazarai pedal. I think the advantage with the Hazarai is more nobs. The filter and decay nobs really do affect your sound quite a bit. I crafted a whole setting around short delays with modulation and a low pass filter.

I power my pedals with a OneSpot power supply, seems to be working so far.
I was messing aroudn with long feedback yesterday, and didn't have any issues with the repeats ending within 15sec... though most of the presets on the Alter Ego are quite modulated, so they eventually deteriorate into a mess, but they keep going. Was your issue losing fidelity or loss of signal?

total loss of signal. i think the power brick is struggling to keep up with the first eight pedals. i originally tried having the x4 share, but that was instant failure. i had some success the other night with having the x4 on its own and the other eight on the brick, but then that broke down on me half way into the first song of our set on saturday. had to pull the modded muff and chorus off (though i don't know the latter was truly necessary) before i got normal sound after that.
i may need to get the bigger power supply.

As my 8-way box is fed from a single 12 V wall plug input into a 9 V regulator, I was thinking of adding one of these to it.

I can plug in one thing at a time and see how the current goes. I have one on order anyway
