Yes it was great. It is i pars testament to how good the Squier JM is if you take the time to set it up. The guy loved it. He'd had the SG up for sale for a bit but because it had been up for sale on Thomann for stupid low money at one point and people can be snooty about "budget" guitars no-one was interested.

That's one of the main reasons I posted my views of it on here. It's so much guitar for the money I think people should give them a try. I think they'll be shocked. I was actually interested in this on the strength of your opinions. You were right on the money. So much so I'm considering a 50s tribute SG or LP while they're flying about for such great prices.

As for the dude I traded with, he was selling to buy an offset so he was chuffed with the JM.

I've been listening to my old Fugazi albums lately, now i've got the urge to ditch my pedals, get an SG and bang a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and get cracking!
