I went by Sam Ash today and they had a Belmont on the floor for $270 + tax on sale. Neck was comfy, but due to the super light body, it was a neck dive monster.
I couldn't how fucking muddy it sounded. I played it through a DRRI and a Marshall DSL, and it was pure mud. Also, even though it was tuned up, any fretted notes sounded out of tune - no consistency. Flat or sharp, but different per string/fret.
Did not buy it.
