Is it the quaint little village of Blan-tyre, or the rough arsed hamlet of blanter?

Did you but it as the lusting is now gone?
Haha, afraid I’d have to do a Frances Shortscale, and smash it over some cunt’s head, living this side of the border.

I had a pink TA-60 around the time Shortscale started, it was a great guitar. If Photobucket hadn't shit the bed there would still be photos on here of my pink semi.

Ah, went along today and someone’s already snagged it.

Couldn’t afford it but wanted to see that finish irl.

Indeed. These were absolutely everywhere around that time. Lots of people I knew had them as first guitars. I remember them as being adequate. I did like the headstock shape and it looked sort of streamlined for a 335-type. The writing on the headstock was just silly though.

Here's one with dots on:

‘cause temping jobs treat you like subhuman scum, I have yet to be paid.

Buuuut the Aria was back on sale and I tapped a tenner off me Ma and it’s on layaway.

Now if I could dip my dick in Rachel Goswell.

That headstock shape is pretty common to lots of Matsumoku. It's something I'll notice and recognise more than the headstock name, because there are so many of those.

One of my pupils even has an acoustic with that headstock shape and I'm assuming it's an electric neck on an acoustic body. This one is Korean made, so not Matsumoku, but I assume it;s the same stock being used later.

I was browsing the Aria site (because, y'know, it's a four day weekend) and they have not one but two CIJ ES-335 copies that have a more "conventional" Gibson/Epi style headstock. Personally I don't mind the headstock shapes one way or the other, but those two models are bloody gorgeous. Expensive as all fuck, but still.

The Diamond model with soapbars?

I had one of those, think Reece bought it off me on here.
Nice guitar, good sound, trem wasn't the best though.

Same as THIS.

I had the bass version. Google Aria DM-01, cannae link on my phone.

New ones are cooler they have a Jazzmaster tremolo.

They’re a tad more expensive though, old ones were under £200

This is the first guitar I ever GAS'd for. I played one on Denmark Street and it was just "my guitar". I didn't have enough money to buy it and haven't found one since. I used to go back from time to time to play it and annoy the guy on Tin Pan Alley cos I'd sit there with it for 30 - 40 mins and then not buy it.

I like that cracked paint job. It would be a cool addition to anyone's collection.

"they" aren't "them" anymore, though.
