well the dl4 and the dd20 are the only ones with tap tempo I've tried...and I liked them both.

I can only speak on what I've tried....I owned a dd-5 but I bought it broken assuming I could fix it...

I use two old Digitech PDS delay's, they are the two footswitch type with the infinite sampler that you can recall. I initially wanted one because MBV used them

, but they are great delay pedals.
Imo the DD-3 is a great BASIC delay and very hard to dial in a bad sound, but obviously the more you spend the more you get.....DD-5, DD-6, Akai Headrush, EHX MM.....

ok, thanks for the input. it sounds like the dd-5 has the best bang for the buck. i think i'll try to locate one for sale.

No dude, mine are the 1000 and a 1002. Loads of range though.
Have you seen what money the PDS-8000's go for these days

and they're rare.
