Fuck ever having to worry about batteries again in a live environment, least of all for some magical tonal difference that only you notice.

In low volumes I'll agree completely with Joe...

I have this little Danelectro Honeytone belt-clip amp that sounds awesome with a battery, but plugged in it clips and the sound turned all the way up sounds just like a battery with 50% life left perpetually.

I haven't tried my Blender with an adapter yet.

When I used a big muff, I only used the adapter at practice.....a loud amp won't really let you notice the difference between a power source in a pedal. Sometimes I'd use a battery in mine and my other guitarist would use an adapter with his. We both played through fender twins and the tone was almost alike (other than his gibson vs my single coil'd guitars)

I'm tempted to get one of those at some point. Though I kinda like the 5 pedal limit imposed on me at any one time.

Aye, but the temptation will always be there, especially since I could homebrew a lot of the daisy chains. To be honest I could do that now, but I'm not sure if the powerbank would take it.

It's all about the combined current draw of your pedals.

Aye, the Powerbank is (well, mine is) 450mA, which really ain't enough for 5 pedals, especially if a digital delay is involved.

Yeah, the dude that bought my DD20 said he couldn't run it and any other pedals on his powerbank.
