I have been testing the free version of Amplitude2 on an iPad and I am extremely impressed. I am about to buy the full version and then I saw this. While you could buy this app separately, I am happy that you can buy the Fender amps and effects and just add separately to Amplitude 2. Keeps you from having to buy the recorder twice.
Peter, what will the bundle prices be for the Fender amps and effects?

AmpliTube 2 for iPhone or iPad users will be able to add AmpliTube Fender stomp box and amplifier models as individual in-app purchases for only $4.99/ €3.99 per amp, $2.99/ €2.39 per stomp box, or $14.99/ €11.99 for the entire bundle.
I can't wait...I have been very happy with the sound quality of this with my iPhone 4 and would love more amp/effect models, especially Fender's. Might even push me over the edge to pick up an iPad sometime for the ease of use/8-track abilities (even though I need to buy the app again)....there's something about using a touch interface over a mouse. I have been watching here to keep updated on the latest developments : http://www.facebook.com/ikmultimedia?v=wall

I was hoping the would bring this to iPad. I am glad it's the same price for the bundle as for the separate app.
$15 for all those original amps and effects is a nice upgrade though I am sure the cheap skates will complain that it's not free. The iPad makes this awesome. I am about to purchase the full version and will add the Fender tones later. Stoked

I have a SilverFace MusicMaster Bass Amp that I love, but this will give a chance to tryout other Fender amps I have not played and maybe help me decide what other Fender Amps to try in the future.

The Amplitube Fender is now on the App Store. I plan to buy and add the Fender pack since I already have the full version. Should be epic. Now when does the Orange amps come out...

I ran my pedalboard through iRig last night to compare my new $8 Starcaster Chorus to my Small Clone Chorus. Sounded amazing. I just can't stop being amazed how good the software works and sounds. this from a guy who is not into digital modeling of effects.

I purchased the Fender bundle for my iPhone as an in app purchase last night but have not had too much time with it yet. Initial impressions were good though...quite a variety in sounds with the various amps (the clean on the Twin is amazing) and a few pedals really stood out right away:
- Fender Blender - to my surprise, was not expecting much for digital modeling an octave fuzz
- Tape echo - this will be fun to experiment with for sure
- Overdrive - like it much better than the "green" one in the base app so far.

Same here on both accounts.

Yeah, the tape echo is something I've been playing around with this afternoon, great fun If only I could quickly turn it on/off. Found that using it with the echo level full up gives a really nice swell in effect, but it's not really appropriate all the time. Using it in a more standard echo format was pretty fun too. Sounds pretty dang good.
Fender Blender is pretty neat. I'm going to have to put some good time into experimenting with it.
The Fender Overdrive is nice, with a good range of drive for my tastes. Set at about 3-4 it gives exactly the level of drive I've been trying to pull out of my real pedals and Twin, but can't.
I've mostly been playing with the Twin emulation, but will get into the other amps more in-depth later The Twin is sounding pretty nice.

So can you use the same app for iPhone and iPad?
Because I hate downloading twice.

Nope they are separate apps. You should be able to run the iPhone one on an iPad but it wouldn't take advantage of the size difference.I bought it and put it on the iPad I am borrowing and plan on buying an iPad 2 when they come out.
