Just so I don't totally forget- Sim from the Fashoda Crisis wants you to make his missus a Box-O-Mike just like mine.

Love the sound of the SHO but price puts it out of the question, can i get a estimate on a MBM version?
1. The boost in your box of rock is a SHO.
2. I'm not going to build you any more pedals until you buy a tube amp. You need to SAVE.

Nice one Doogster, that's awesome! Did it surive the tour ok?

Yeah mate, not a single problem with it!

Sim's missus was at the first "tour" show in Brighton, and heard my AWESOMETONES and wanted to get one for her bass because it was so gnarly.

Had the opportunity to use it with a great bass amp for the whole tour (Ashdown MAG 300 410 combo) and it just sounded fantastic.

Nope :-(

The Saltstorm didn't really work out as I didn't have the right components for it, but the Saltbooster (Vader) and the Midfield General (DLS/OCD) pedals were mint but didn't attract attention. I'm happy to keep them and use them myself if noone is interested. The Saltstorm I'm going to build a Muff into instead.

I got a lot of people saying they were interested in stuff.

This is a Public Announcement. I will build X-Wing (or otherwise) DLS's if people are interested

i might send my DLS for that footswitch mod. so i can toggle the plexi/800 sounds on the fly. how much dollar we looking at?
the xwing DLS looked mint at doogfest. it'd be a pain to get you to pimp mine, but i'd like a star wars related pedal in a future purchase.

what was that marshall combo you said to look out for? i think it was your amp built in to a 2x12 cab.

JMP50 2x12" Combo. I could whack a footswitch on your pedal for like £15. Seeing as I'll have to remove the circuit to do that I could do an X-Wing at the same time.

What kinda price do you reckon? I'll let 'em know in the e-mail passover, just in case it changes matters.

HAHA

The OCD-DLS unit sounded great cascaded, proper singing gain levels.

Yeah, that's one of my favourite things about it - the DLS really likes other pedals/boosts knocked into the front of it.

Noirie, it might sound steep, but consider that the original pedals are £70 each (and priced well at that level), you get a second pedal of the same quality in the same box for £30 more, plus they occupy less pedalboard space etc.

One can only try to comprehend just how long Noirie's paper round must be.
