I think they also make a 'mini-man' that's smaller than the gigman. They definitely used to do something like that, not sure if they still do.Mike wrote:Yeah as the others have said it's a Gigman, I'm down from the Showman, hence the downsize. It's the smallest board Diago make, with the Tourman being even bigger than the Showman.

Thanks!
It's a Matamp King Street Major, I went down to visit them this time last year and ordered it.
When I was down there, I tried out a few of their amps - settled on this one, then played it through their selection of speaker cabs and this is what came out of it.
I tried my best to push my luck as far as it could go with the custom front panel... suits my sense of humour though
It took 6 and a half months to actually get it into my possession but it was worth the wait. You'll need to ask me in a few years if it was worth the money, though.
In hindsight, a decent Marshall would've done the job but I think I've got something fairly unique that I'm happy with.
As far as sound goes it's quite 'middy' in general, so I usually have the mids dialled right back. Once I got it set up the way I like it, it's lovely.
It loves the MBM and Dwarfcraft... totally happy with my dirt through it.

Nah...
Our practice room has a concrete floor, makes the reverb in the place unbearable.
This has been solved by the addition of free underlay. It's chewed up nicely and found it's way everywhere. Cheap/Nasty/Quick/Dirty solution
It does look like I've poured a packet of cornflakes on it in a quest for better toanes

I am finally really happy with my board layout, I need to get another patch cable so I can get my scrambler back on there. The MBM fuzz factory is intense and the MBM box of cake is great, I have it set for lower gain and my COD has been set for high gain. everything works great. I have a feeling I wont be buying pedals for a while. This set up is perfect for me.

my keyboard player surprised me with this gift last night. he used to play guitar/bass and brought this little boss case and 3 pedals 15 or so years ago. he doesn't use it anymore and just gave it to me. the OD-2 sounds really good, like an sd-1 but with more balls and better low end. really dug it at practise last night. the CE-3 is just like the one i got from chisa, though a little less noisy. might mod one and keep one stock. might give my keyboard player my hammond clone to say thanks.
