I predict, by next year if these are still offered I'm going to end up with one, but I'll never tell a soul that I did.

you should get one before halloween.

It is £900-odd. For a reliced sunburst Mexican Fender with the wrong pickups. And the pickups and the trem are in the wrong place.

THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES.

I already did teh Kurdtz for Halloween, like two years ago. I even made a Flipper shirt and taped an old syringe to my arm.

I think it would look really cool next to your vintage Jaguar and Mustang.

I love the look of it, but I doubt I would pick up a new one. Perhaps used one day. I would probably get the J. Mascis Jazzmaster first, but the more I look at it the more appealing it becomes.

The trem is in the wrong place?

All I can find on finickyguitars.com is that the Trem is not a modified "wrong handed" one. Which I don't really care about.

And the neck pickup not being butted right up to the next doesn't bother me really, you can actually adjust the truss rod on this guitar.

I must admit I do have reservations about buying another Sunburst guitar (and a Jaguar at that) but "wrong pickups?".

Meh - I know I shouldn't get this and I probably won't to be honest. I'm trying to save money after all for THE FUTURE.

Oh, I thought it was in the wrong place. Could be wrong though. Now admittedly, I don't get the Kurdtz like you youngsters, but I struggle to see what the fuss is about. If it was £500 then maybe, but it's just too much money. And by wrong pickups, I meant humbuckers - I've learned to love humbuckers again, but I think there are guitars they fare much better in.

lefties are available and a lot of shops are still offering the Take it Away finance scheme which is apparently easy to get and 0% interest for 9 months

They made "left handed" trems? I'll have to look at my MIJ Jag, I think that one has a "right handed" trem also.

I'm seriously thinking about buying one of these. Cobain'd jaguar into a mesa boogie, busting out gilbert-esque lines and arpeggios. Anyone besides me think this is a good idea? I doubt many others are buying these that style.

I'm seriously considering purchasing... looking around my flat wondering what I can sell

When these eventually hit the secondhand market, do you think they'll be considerably cheaper ?

Buy a left-handed model and play it upside-down for shades of Jimi.

After it's discontinued it will be more rare/authentic/valuable.

Or you could sell it to Pens.
