Its original except for the replacement slide switches and no trem bar. The bridge cover is in the case.

nice. i think the black pickguard would be a good way to go, or maybe a pearl guard with black covers.

Yeah i will deffinately give the black pg a try if i can get my hands on one. The pearl guard+black covers is a cool combo too, like '65 RI.

i've only got pics taken by other people but i'll do the whole rig sooner or later.
both my shortscales are cij,the jag from 2003 the stang from 2006.
the jag is currently missing a bridge pickup due to me being and absolute spanner cack-handedly trying to get the claw's off.
not only did i manage to push one of the poles clean out i pulled the wiring loose too.
anyhoo, its buggered so any reccomendations for a replacement?
was looking at the s.duncan extra hot jag p.up that goes for about £50.
the vintage one is all well and good but i need a bit more beef for solo's n noise n shit.
i would never change anything on the mustang tho.
its the most perfect setup i've ever used.
hello to everyone too!
i've used this forum as a reference for about a year now and check back daily so i kinda feel like i know alot of yooose!

I put the black pickguard on that I got from Paul Ray. I'm not sure what it's meant for because it didn't fit mine properly and he said not for reissuses. Then again the one I had on there had shrunk slightly so it could just be something to do with that.
There's a rio grande pickup in the bridge, but the bobbin is the same size as a robroe cover, so you can't put a cover on it. Fucking idiots. I can't stand pole pieces on Mustang types so as a temporary fix I just put some black electrical tape over it (you can see the tape on both in the middle pic as it's not quite as black as the pickguard). There's also tape over one of the switch holes and the switch in use is a 3 way slide for the pickups in the standard bridge/both/neck style.
