I have one on order, I actually have all the parts for this thing, but I have to route the stock pickup holes to fit tele bridge pickups, then apply some new binding, and clear coat over it to make sure it stays on this time. I've never done any of those things before, and even though I am would like to try, I don't have a router, or spraying system. As such, patience, patience, patience....and job hunting

A bit of wiring and adding the last plate, this is about as far as I can go until I get a J-O-B

Unfortunately not, going with twin tele bridge pups, maybe I could get away with doing a stealth neck pickup and make it esquire-esque? Use a bigsby tele plate and keep the big sauron streak in tact.
This is going with the cross neck, strider17 from offset is building it...

Doing my first paint work, headstock for my bass vi. Clearly it isn't perfect, but I am about to wet sand a run and some orange peel out of the clear in prep for the decal, then more clear.

Shit tommies of sanding and polishing later, ready for the decal, then a bunch more clear/sand/polish/repeat

More progress, if got the decal on and clear coated, sanded down, and the next coat on, now another 24 hours and more sanding.
Black ink still visible at the right angles...

I think I tagged the decal a bit, so I am going to clear it once more, but this is what the decal looks like *mostly* finished, with a 3 stage polish. Getting close!

Good enough for me...
Waiting on some parts, as soon as I sell a neck I will order a bridge from staytrem and calling it pretty much finished

Basically done, eventually I will get a bass vi hardtail from strider, but it plays SO much better with the bridge and string upgrade...
