For a shortscaler; £75 each or £90 for them both in one box!
Isn't that basically the same as your Midfield General? (because it goes from box to box)

Indeed it would be, that was just a one off though, I've done a few custom dual drives. I don't have a production one per se

what's a Midfield General?!

A DLS and an OCD in one box.

I built this for myself, I use it to practise at home with an Echo Base and my Bugera V55HD.

I loved this one at doogfest, mainly the OCD side but they both sounded great together. Really want to try out a DLS again sometime.

You should cash in on a Siamese Dream muff before tim does *arsecake*

I've already said it's in my product roadmap. If he steals it, he's a cunt.

Just as a feeler:
Stereo true bypass loop? (mono in, stereo send/return, stereo out)
Stereo small clone-type chorus?

Stereo True Bypass Loop - possible, but the fact it's stereo means it wouldn't be true bypass, as the signal would have to be buffered and split into Left and Right sends. Plus that's a lot of jacks. Would be bristling with the things. Probably not cheap.

Stereo Small Clone chorus? If you bought a PCB from tonepad and mailed it to me I could get the ICs and build a stereo version with a second board doing the stereo.

Could it remain true bypass if the send was mono? Mono in - mono send/stereo return - stereo out

I'm quite interested in the stereo small clone and will keep your suggestion in mind

Yeah, it could remain mono then, you would just want one loop?

Input

Mono Send

L, R Stereo Returns

L, R Stereo Outputs (What do you want to drive the outputs if the loop isn't engaged - if you want both to be drivern by the mono input then I would buffer again or weird shit will happen I think)

The idea is to be able to turn on my delay and reverb at the same time. Normally my reverb is at the end of my chain splitting my signal into two (even while bypassed)
so the loop would still have to split my signal in bypassed mode. Looks like it will need a buffer or it would literally split my signal/tone in two

Yeah, I don't like the idea of just connecting a mono signal to two different jacks without buffering. I don't know what's going on instead your Reverb pedal but I would hope the two outputs were isolated from each other.

Not sure about them being isolated but I am running it in a buffered "tails" mode. It seems to be splitting the signal just fine in the buffered mode, I haven't tried it in true bypass yet but it functions in either mode.
I'm thinking that trying to split the signals will be similar to using a tuner out on a volume pedal, loosing impedence or something or other. I'm not opposed to a buffer, I mostly play live so I'm not gong to put up a stink about not having true bypass

Mike,

This weekend I had to open up one of my guitars to fix some grounding issues. Besides the futility that I call soldering, I think I had the wrong size/type of solder and the wrong type of wire. What is the best kind of solder and wire to use for guitar pots and pedals? Do you have a particular soldering iron you recommend? I used one I bought at local hardware store and it doesn't work that great. Thanks.

Make a thread in Effects/Amps/Pedals so more people can chip in and answer your question.

Sorry about placing that question on the wrong thread. I guess I need more sleep.

I do have a question actually goes here.

What color LEDs do you have available for your pedals?
