Are you doing that to just act a splitter so you can use both channels? Because oooooooooobviously, it won't be actually working in stereo.

I've been putting the two side by side for the past two weeks. Its hard to choose between the two. The Hardwire does great spring and plate reverbs, but the verbzilla does a crazy good hall. The Verbzilla does better subtle and over the top reverbs, where the hardwire does the better standard reverb sound. After a lot of playing and tweaking I think I'm keeping the verbzilla.

TECNICALEEEE its not true stereo. BUT using the two different channels gives me the same effect except its... mono... confusing i know. The Bass channel is darker and more rounded and the Normal channel is spanky clean. The peaks of my chorus goes through the normal channel and the troughs go through the bass which compensates for my weak chorus. Delays have more depth since it ping-pongs and pans between two different sounding 'amps'.

I've done this a few times live. Sound techs freak out when they hear "stereo" but i tell them its AFAIK

I had rewired my cab to be 4 Ohm itead of 16 in anticipation of the Bassman arrival.


Revamped the board and replaced the Crunch Box with the Formula No.5:

I remember when my friend went with me to pick up my Bassman. We brought it back to his house so I could crank it through his open back 2x12 Orange cab. Everything looks better on top of Orange cabs

How are you liking the Drivemaster? My cousin found someone with a good offer on one for about £30. If I get it, it'll probably be kicking my modded Rat off of my board because the idea of a 3 band EQ is wicked.

I got mine for £40 last Christmas. Its a good pedal but it wouldn't beat my Reutz Rat. £30 seems fair go for it!
