This has been my setup for the past week or so. Almost entirely ex other Shortscale members. Amp rig via Hurb and Mustang via NickD. With a wee bit of LP (No SScale affiliation).

Did you convert Hot Rod Deluxe into a head? Do you play mostly clean or dirty? Will Hot Rod Deluxe be too loud for a medium size club?

Hurb did that. I've not had much of a chance to blast it here at home tho I would say that most of the volume increase seems to be in the first half of the pot sweep. I'd say you'd need to mic it up.

I've been using it clean, it sounds really sweet. The distortion channel isn't as bad as people say, it's fine for overdrive duties. Any more distortion than that and it;s not as nice. Takes pedals like a champ tho.

I don't normally get excited for Les Pauls. But there's just something about that black one...

Boshed the David White 'Old Glories' XII-style split pickups I bought off NickD into the JetKing this morning, some lovely jangles now happening.

The rocker switches do nowt at the mo, but thinking of maybe turning one into phase switch, and the other series/parallel jobber?

Looks great Doog, very tasteful. I always liked the butterscotch finish on those original jet kings.

You've got a really nice job. I've never worked at any place where I could bring guitar without being asked "Man WTF???"
Great tone though

It's 11pm on a Saturday, day 10 of a 15 day shift, were there people willing to come to the office at this time they might raise an eyebrow, thankfully they have things like free time and social lives to keep them from coming in

Found a nifty trick with the a/b/y box. If you jumper the channels on a 4 input Marshall, and then use the ab switch to patch into the remaining inputs, you can create a faux 3 channel amp. A is the high treble set cleaner, b is the Norma channel set for more breakup and both adds a little boost and more crunch.

used to do something similar with the fx loop on my TSL. if you jumper the fx loop and you can use its mix knob to dial in a signal boost as a "solo" volume boos on any channel.

Oh man, I miss my jetking. I had a metallic green one ages ago. It was such a cool shape but woeful guitar for my tastes. That looks clean.
