I'VE GOT A CORDLESS DRILL IN MY FUCKING DORM ROOM. Men have and know how to use tools - that should be a law. Shop should be required in high schools.

Well sorry guys, but I find myself pretty tied up during term time. I'm at school until evenings 5 days a week, and I'm working my part time job at weekends. My Dad's working longer hours to help contribute to my car fund, and ideally I'd like to finish it off with him, because no offence to everyone who contributed, but I'd rather not screw it up (no pun intended). That just seems like a waste.

When I was your age I was shagging birds and playing Mortal Kombat.

Well if it's any consolation, I don't even have time for that right now. I want to get the Malikaster done, but I wouldn't even have time to play the thing if I did that at the moment. I just got a pedalboard from Proggy, it's all hooked up and everything, but again I haven't even had time to test the thing. I'm off in two weeks, so that's probably the most likely time of completion for this, at least then I'll have time to take it to band practice and rock out with justice.

It's been over a month. Is the neck on this thing yet? Have you strung it up and played it?

Malik made the suggestion in another thread he had put the neck on (finally) but that he hadn't had the time to take decent enough pictures. Get Off Your Arse.

People put a lot of money and effort into this project (including me), the least they deserve is to see some resolution.

Fuck this, man. Fuck it hard.

When I first joined, this project was a complete enigma to me. It took me weeks to figure out what it was and that it meant that this forum rocked SO MUCH that people were actually building gear for eachother and shipping it across oceans! I felt proud for the internet.

I got really excited about seeing it and all.

Fuck it.

hmmmm, I don't want to jump on some sort of Malik hate train here because I've always got on well with him, but I can't help wondering if I'm ever going to see my volume pedal again.

you cant hate that which you dont see.

don't worry, malik will get on here eventually and defend himself why he hasn't found the time to post once in a month bla bla bla bla too busy bla bla bla heard it all before already twice as months already went by between posts.

dude. it takes 30 seconds to make one post. it takes longer to boot up the computer.

frankly i have heard enough excuses and im probably one of the most tolerant dudes here.

the whole project was a mistake.

I'll reserve judgement for when he posts again. He could well have lots of crap to do, like.

ive got lots of crap to do. i haven't posted as much as i normally do not around christmas time.

hell today is the first day in a week that i think i have made more than 10 posts from home in a month.

shortscale is above all else like a family, it takes work. some people put more work into it than others. I right now cant do so much as normal, life goes on. but malik got half a guitar for free and then dropped off the face of the earth after he told us he didn't know how to use tools.

wtf ?
