duder, i don;t know how you can dick around with those scratch pcbs, they would make my brain hurt since im used to using the pro style green ones.
but then again, you are a pro and im a novice so im sure that you are well versed in these ways.

PCBs make sense if you're making a lot of standard designs like you guys do.

I build to order, so a lot of what I do is customised in some way, so it would make less sense for me to get PCBs made.

I enjoy the veroboard process to be honest, but that probably makes me weird.

word, i mean, we do 5 boards at a time, making ours easier to work with just for the repition aspect, but doing sinlge order jobs it would be silly.

lol sorry, just hurb's post and the fact i've been after a cheap distortion pedal that doesn't sound like it eats mids and all hissy you know. just something tight enough for tighter/fast metal/punk sounds, not like a boss metalzone, used to have one, it's good for metal i kinda liked it but sounds a bit too sterile, and a big muff is too hairy/undefined for anything but powerchords...so more or less inbetween those two..dark distortion with a bit of hair/character. i know this post sounds like a mess haha. i was after a dod death metal, it made me smile when i tried it at a friend's but still not totally it, and not gonna bother with eq pedals. i like the distortion on my rocker but for silent recording i've nothing but fuzz no distortion and the simulator on garageband sounds so fake.

Have you thought about the Boss OCD, Kim? Or it's Behringer counterpart? It's great. Really tight and detailed sound despite being really, really gainy. Heavy as fuck.

Thank you both a bit late, but this pedal is class! There is extra horrible fuzz noise when Tomassi suffers from withdrawal symptoms, oh and my mam think's it's loud

I hope someone buys and demos your Ram's Head Muff soon. I really want to hear that compared to the IC muff.

Aye. In fairness, if your name is known and trusted on all these guitar forums and beyond, and you start making that Muff, it's only ever going to sell like fuck. Good idea, that.

The black one is really black. I like it.

Yeah people seem to be into it, and in all fairness it does nail that Siamese Dream sound, I can't help but run through about 3 or 4 of the riffs I can hamfistedly play when I test them.
