No. It wouldn't, don't monkey with it, please.

Thanks for the answer. I had a fuzz a while ago that came with both silicon and germanium transistors and you could change them so I just wondered if the same was possible with this one. You can rest assured that I do not intend to do any monkeying around with the insides whatsoever, apart from changing the battery that is.

a fuzz face is on the list of things i wanna try. would you recommend the extra controls compared to a standard fuzz face, mike?
i like the sounds gilmour got on the early floyd stuff.

I apologise for being a smart arse but wasn't the early Pink Floyd stuff Syd Barratt?

The Fuzz Face model on the M9 is my weapon of choice, it's like the perfect balance between "fuzz" and "distortion" especially with the EQ controls the model offers- I'm sure the MBM one would be as flexible and badass.

I love that Floyd era, actually I love the era from Syd to Animals - not so keen on The Wall although there are some awesome songs on it. Echoes on Live at Pompei is the business.

^Peugeot Pagoda Red
Reminded me of a scene in a cheech and chong movie....
Lady to the Valet (played by Cheech) - "I have a black Peugeot."
Valet to other Valet (Chong) - "See ... I told you she wasn't a natural redhead."
... I wonder if Danny Trejo was ever in an old Cheech and Chong movie?
Anyways, my point is - these pedals always look so well put together.

Love the 2 large Jag knobs with the smaller one. Are those knobs a set or do you just pair two large ones with one smaller one?

Nah I order them from supplies in the two sizes (24mm and 19mm) and mix and match sometimes if it takes my fancy (or as in this case, I run out of large knobs)

Order list is getting long so I've been soldering my little nuts off all day long.
Clockwise from top left; Green Muff (skip), Green Muff with Tone Bypass (serfx), Slow Gear Clone (finboy), Saltbooster output stage for Slow Gear Clone (finboy), Bass Fuzz, Bass Overdrive. SInce this picture I've added wires to all of them and tested them. They all worked first time - now THAT is a good feeling.
