the nut needs to come down 1-2MM, playing open chords is a bitch at the moment, but a tweak on the truss rod and a capo makes it workable. Unfortunately I start night shift tomorrow night, so i basically can't work on it for the next 15 days
added bonus, it has a strangle switch setup wired to the volume pot, which is a push/pull, because the jag neck pickup with strangle switch is pure win.

Wowzerz, finster.
Brilliant work and three cheers for tasteful creativity brought to fruition with adept skills.

wish i was doing the heavy lifting myself, but my skills aren't there yet. Finishes are cooter, and the neck builds were cross. I can put them together, set them up, etc. but when I get some time I would really like to try doing the actual building/finishing. Cooter has really inspired me to try to re-bound the jag body as the binding andrewdoeshair did came off when the guitar was delivered (weather related, canada post left it outdoors). It is going to be a few days task, as I will have to sand out the old glue, tape off the finish, reglue the new binding in, file it to height without damaging the finish, AND clear coat it. Needless to say, that will be the hardest thing I have had to do on a guitar yet

Looking good. I'm still semi-cursing you for snagging the 70s Strat neck before me. My 60s JM body really needs something similar.

Slight aging to reflect the above guitars, I asked for a slight bit more on the forearm ledge, other than that it's getting close
