I must admit, I enjoy how many different spellings of my user name I've seen about.

MIKE, I FUCKING LOVE IT!

It is hideous, in such a wonderful manner. I will cherish it til I go deaf due to it.

I've been meaning to try some pt2399 based pedals. That two tone echo base looks smoooooth.

Delay pedals are good fun to make, the more complicated stuff is obviously more time consuming and there is a lot more that can go wrong, but it's all the same principle. If you can build on veroboard you can build an Echo Base and debug it if it doesn't work.

Plus, the Echo Base sounds fantastic.

Id love to build Frequency Central's Little Angle corus. I have a few p2399s arund but hve a few other things first on the list.
I've looked at the Rebote delay and it sounds damn good but Slacker has done a great job with the Echo Base and its lfo modulation.

You know what is satifying? When something like this works after you wire it up.
What you see on the knobs is the protective plastic. I've still to mount the board to the lid and coax everything flat and into the case without it being upset with the world but God DAMN what a project.

that looks amazing, I love those knobs on it. I do have to say though that you have less wire in there than I have in the fuzz face I made, i must do something about cutting that down some day

Yeah cutting the wires down to bare minimum length is how you end up with a clean build. Involves more planning and testing out of the box, but it's better in the long run. However with this there is no possible way to wire it in-situ as I generally do since the board has to sit on the lid, not in the case as it's too bloody long - so I've had to leave some slack which will complicate things when I fold it into place.

Fingers crossed all will be well though once properly insulated.

Most probably not. I doubt I'll have the time, plus my mics and leads are all at the rehearsal space now.

Maybe an iPhone clip or something - it sounds monstruous.

an iphone clip should be pretty good and easy to record. One of the things I like about amplitude 2 on their now

Mike, what kind of knobs are those? They looked like Bronco Knobs but without the "F".

That looks immense. There's something about it that looks incredibly business like. It's not playing games.

This might be a stupid question but what is it?
