New-Ancient Cab!!!!:
Found this at Music-go-round a few days ago. It's a late-'40s Bell & Howell 1x12 from a portable 16mm Filmosound projector. I got it for $25 because the original speaker was "rattly" (at least that's what they said - I haven't tested it and think it was just the cab itself). I put in a Weber alnico I had laying around and use it with the speaker-out I added to my trusty Orange Crush 10. Sounds awesome! I need to wedge some foam in a few spots to stop a couple rattles, but it's pretty well good-to-go.

Bit of a swap around on the board as am putting a new band together. Micro Pog is new - we currently have 2 guitars and a drummer.
Out: SHO, FN5, DLS
In: Micro Pog, Internet
Sorry for the shitty low light phone pics, will do better in daylight.

Thom, tell me about how you use the Internet pedal? I have been trying to move my Eau Claire Thunder and wanted to replace it with the Internet.

Well I haven't used it as much as I would have thought as I was so addicted to the FN5 - part of the reason for this change was to use it and put it through its paces.
Having said that, I have been setting it as a medium overdrive and then boosting it using the pron for solos/heavy parts. Very simple really. Depends on what amp I am using as well - as above for the Fenders, but as a regular boost for my Orange.

On the left is a 70s Morley Wah Fuzz which I think is a great unit, less of a quack and more like the low pass filter on that Korg MS10. Guitar is a 1982 Ibanez Destroyer II with custom coil tap on the bridge. Cab was very cheap but behind it is a 70s Orange 4x12 waiting to get rewired to 4 ohms.

I got it at Joann Fabric for approximately $10/yard. It was much easier than having grill clothe shipped, and I thought it was a nice change

Black 70s Orange 4x12, must have set you back?

I got ridiculously lucky with a second chance offer on ebay and got it for 200 quid loaded with 2 greenbacks and 2 blackbacks. It is orange underneath though, someone has painted it, which is why it was so cheap I guess. Apparently you can use gasket cleaner to get the paint off if you've got a spare week - most of my gear is old and battered looking so I'll probably just keep it how it is.

Old and battered is my favourite. All do stuff is of that ilk.

Is that an MS20 in the corner? I am so jealous. I got scammed out of a MS10 years ago.

It's an MS10, badly in need of some attention, keyboard contacts are a bit shaky and some of the patch sockets don't work, I should be able to do the repairs myself and turn it back into a brilliant machine. The patchbay lets you run your guitar signal through the filter and I think you can use it as a trigger too. I'm thinking I could stick another light dependent resistor in my Morley and make a circuit to output cv to control the pitch too? I'd end up with wires everwhere and something like the Keio Synthesizer Traveler....

That sounds awesome man, good luck with that. I'd like to hear some patchbay + guitar sounds if you get it working again.

OK, first post and it's a clichéd and poorly lit photo of my pedals. Mainly to try and hide the fact I'm a multi-fx pariah.

Welcome, and it doesn't make you a pariah here to use multi-FX. I have a Zoom GFX707 and a Line 6 Pod 2 (ex Progrockabuse), though I don't use them for gigs at the moment, and there are Line 6 multi-FX users around these parts. A better-lit picture would be nice...

Thanks. The poorly lit picture is really more the fault of my camera (or lack thereof) than anything else. For those struggling to see through the gloom its:
Boss GT-8
ZVex Fuzz Probe
Roger Linn AdrenaLinn III
Dave Smith Instruments Desktop Evolver
