Design-wise, what do you think?

Are the necks held on with Fender plates or Mosrite stylee ferrules?

UPDATE!

I got impatient, shot the body in whatever green I had in the paint bin and threw it together. This Mercury is the first prototype *with a Fender neck*. I'll put the GFS Pro Tubes in it next week, but I knew youse guys wanted a preview.

The bridge is really quite nice and the sustain is amazing. I temporarily threw in a couple of dave's jap/mexican pups for now...they're really trebly.

Thoughts, anyone?

i actually like the frog green and mint. I don't think anyone would buy that though.
