Mike's Pedal Thread

DIE-NO-SAW (Mr Roar) design inspired by my little lad. A stencil drawing he did back last year when he was 5. He added the embellished claws to the t-rex one on the far right to make him more fierce.
Looks awesome and I can't thank Mike & Tim for sorting it out for me enough

BTW what's the Shredmaster based on? looks interesting with all those controls. That Ross Comp looks class too, guess the customer is a Rush fan?

I love it when people ask for stuff like this, artwork from their kids or something that is dear to them. I made a Small Clone with these amazing Robots my cousin's kid left at my folks place on a piece of paper. Too awesome:
The Shredmaster is a Marshall Shredmaster - it's used by Johnny Greenwood and some other indie types from the 90s - very cool sounding overdrive/distortion - definitely not for Metalheads only.
The Ross Compressor is for a Rush fan indeed - Benecol did a great job on all these. I love the IC Muffs also.
Cheers

mike, i might have a minor repair job for you shortly; i must have over-exuberantly stamped on my OCD at that last london gig and the LED has popped through into the casing. it still lights up, but it's down inside the box. is there any way of fitting one of your more current metal bezels onto it? they look a bit more sturdy than the plastic jobs you used to use.
edit: just had an idea- perhaps to make it more worth your while, would it be possible to whip up a saltbooster and make it into a dual pedal (in a new case, obviously)?

No worries Chris! It was a fun one!
I can replace with a metal one if you want but I'll need to drill the hole out to 8mm from 6mm
If you want it rehoused with a Saltbooster drop me a PM as we'll need to talk details as I'll have to cost it up.
Two more Ultralords, one for benecol
You should be able to just open the box up and replace the LED back where it used to belong? Or do you need a new plastic bezel?stewart wrote:mike, i might have a minor repair job for you shortly; i must have over-exuberantly stamped on my OCD at that last london gig and the LED has popped through into the casing. it still lights up, but it's down inside the box. is there any way of fitting one of your more current metal bezels onto it? they look a bit more sturdy than the plastic jobs you used to use.

i did have the plastic bezel but have now lost it. have affected a temporary repair with gaffa tape for now. will mull over the dual pedal thing- turns out i won't be working for 3 days this week which means a hole in my finances, so it may have to wait for a bit.Mike wrote:You should be able to just open the box up and replace the LED back where it used to belong?
