Astro's Tone Machine/Ultimate Octave and Stewart's OCD cases. I stickered and lacquered the Saltboost case also today.

I built Stewart a new OCD board from scratch and it fucking works. BONERTOWN. It sounds fucking immense actually.

I hope to wire these over the weekend and teh start of next week.

Controls on the Octave are Fuzz, Tone, Tone toggle switch, Volume

Controls on the OCD are Gain and Volume with the LP/HP switch between them and the Tone in between them below.

So I built that Big Muff for ebay which is in Classifieds until tomorrow.

Then I built Astro's Octave Fuzz. I forgot how complicated these things are to wire. Luckily it worked first time and sounds fucking PHAT.

I'm waiting on Stewart's Pink LED but I should get that next week. I'm going to build his OCD without LED tomorrow. I'll probably end up building teh Saltbooster after a shower now.

benecol

Post by benecol »

This morning BenecolJr and I pottered down the post office to collect my fuzzface - thanks Mike! It was promptly whipped out of my hands as soon as I got through the door by my wife, insistent that since it's a birthday present, I can't have it until my birthday. Slag. I moaned and whined that I should plug it in just once to make sure its patented geranium technology had survived transit - she double-bluffed me, plugged it into my amp, and hamfistedly played my guitar through it while adjusting the controls.

I can report that it sounds great, even while Mrs Benecol accidentally plays the Howard's Way theme through it. Full report on or after September 7th. Thanks Mike.

Yeah, it's ridiculous isn't it?

Metallics are way easy to spray also. Good times.

The pedals you built me look sweet! That metallic green kicks ass. I'm going to wear that pedal on my head at next year's St-Patrick's day. I love the knobs that you used, too!

Check your paypal, there are some electronic coins waiting for you in there.

Thanks bud! I'm glad you like, will get these into your hands ASAP.

The controls on the Booster are tone top left and volume in teh middle

The Octave Fuzz is Fuzz, Tone, Toneswitch and Volume.

Left switch is pedal on and off, right switch is Octave engaged or just regular Fuzztone.

It sounds rather fabulous, just needs that pink LED. I'll knock together a demo later on I think
