I love it, haven't wanted any other modulation pedals since. The chorus nails that 80's chorus tone (it IS from the 80's I suppose) but I quite like the Flanger too, it's not quite as jet-plane as the Boss ones but it's also not metallic, does the slow and swirly well enough for all my needs.

Been looking for a second one for a while now but they just don't seem to come up.

Are thiose bespeco volume pedals any good? Whats the virtual battery, never seen one.

The volume pedal does the job, I'm sure it's probably not going to last forever as it doesn't have the best construction but it's perfectly adequate. The virtual battery uses some magic to isolate whatever pedal it's plugged in to, so if you have a pedal that becomes noisy when it's daisy chained the virtual battery can make it nice and quiet.

I just stuck it there while I was messing around with the order of things and just kind of forgot to take it out :lol:

I worked on my desk setup. I brought out as many pedals as I could and hooked them up.

(Tuner>Chorus>Phaser>BD-2>Tube Screamer>Shredmaster>DS-1>MD-2>Shin Ei Companion>LS-2> Frontman 25r (Amp A soon to be swapped with Vox PF15R) and Fender Eighty-Five (Amp B))

Current amp setup. Pretty happy with this, small enough to not be back-breaking but hella loud. Orange is a 1x12, bass amp is 1x15.

Current pedalboard, am really liking the Zoom. Need to sort out some presets that I can switch between to make it more useable as a stand alone pedal, but as am not gigging is not urgent.

What have you got that lot plugged into Thom? Are you using the Harley Benton as your "amp" and then straight into a laptop/speaker etc or do you have an amp after the pedals?

Cheers mate, am really liking them. Feels like I have only scratched the surface of the Zoom, but I am using the Small Clone sound quite a lot. I also downloaded the Klon as well and it sounds really good. There were a few songs I used to play with the old band where I had loads of effects going on so it has been fun trying to recreate those. Am liking using the line selector to switch numerous "pedals" on and off at once.

At the moment it's going into an Orange practice amp while I'm in Beijing - the 20W one I think. Is nice enough for waht it is and perfect for the apartment. When I was in the UK last week I had the Zoom and HB going through my Princeton and Rockerverb and it sounded amazing! :D

My stripped back pedalboard, The mooer delay I got just before Xmas, it's nice but I'm not sure if it's great at emulating an analog delay, it has the sound but a kind of digital presence, I've ordered a cave dweller PCB to build so I might use the mooer just for slapback when I get that.

The Behringer is new, I've been meaning to build a vibrato but this was £15 on amazon so I thought I might as well go for it. It sounds good but I haven't quite gathered what exactly the rise knob does.

forgot i'd got this old boss pedal board. don't know where the power supply has gone. so bulky old faithful supply sits on top for now. took the delay last practice, quite like the grimy delays you get sticking it out front. plus handy places for me pics and capo etc. any one got diago supply or clone let me know as i could do with one.

I believe it controls the speed at which RATE goes from zero to the desired setting and only functions in UNLATCH mode, where you depress and hold the pedal to trigger the effect. You can test my zany theory by setting RISE to max and setting RATE to max. This should sound like a rotating speaker ramping up to full speed, as in the physical realm a mechanical speaker isn't going to reach full speed immediately; RISE will help fake that. I guess it would be like manually manipulating the RATE knob, with RISE being the time you want to spend turning the RATE knob from the slowest setting to your desired speed.

Oh that's pretty cool, I hadn't really been interested in the unlatch mode but being able to play an arpeggio and slowly bring in the effect as you get to the top strings sounds great

The signal path goes:

Korg DT10 - CS3 - FB2 - LS2 - LS2 - TC Flashback

The first LS2 is set up for 2 loops - loop 1 is the BD2 and OD3, loop 2 is the OS2 and FZ2.
The 2nd LS2 is set up for just the 1 loop - TR2 - HF2 - DC3.

This allows me to swap between clean and dirt sounds, between dirt different sounds and to go from clean/dirt with modulation to dirt/clean without modulation (or vice versa) with 1 stomp.

Also, as I only use 1 of the loops on the 2nd LS2 I can mix the modulated sound with the clean sound which enables me to make the modulation the modulation sound more subtle - works great with mt TC Electronics Shaker Vibrato, which I have just swapped out with the DC3.
