Does the mid knob on the muff really make much difference helping it to be heard in a band mix?

I love my IC muff but cant really in the band as it just gets lost, we are currently employing it as a bass fuzz..... sounds great.

from my experience it helps with my pedal.

Does the tone bypass switch not help? That gives you a very flat response.

I dunno why it would be lost either, it has a very large volume output. Turn up your amp.

I love that you've become pedal supplier to Darren Hayman Mike....man's a legend! Will definitely be purchasing the vinyl of his instrumental album about lidos when that drops. In terms of having a consistently interesting musical career, there are fewer better artists out there imho.

Nice pedals too, mad props to both you & benecol on these. They always look amazing & sound great from the demos I've heard...will definitely be putting in an order one of these days.

Yeah the Darren thing is great. I got into him via Amy and became a big fan of his current stuff and Hefner quite rapidly.

We used to go to a lot of the same shows when we lived in Hackney (he also lives in East London), and eventually we started chatting via twitter and then had some pints in Walthamstow. I built him a pedal because I thought it would be awesome if he used one on some records, and since then we've done trades using the old barter system, he sends me records, does artwork for bags/T shirts (which I've yet to order *facepalm*) and I've built him another pedal.

He's a really nice guy, and a great songwriter. Apparently he's taking at least one of the pedals to indietracks this year.

I've had some chat with Bill who plays bass in the Secondary Modern and Allo Darlin' who I also love. I'll probably make him a pedal at some point also.

benecol deserves all the praise for the looks, my artistic skill is non existance in visual space. Without him I am nothing.

If you're planning to make some tees, feel free to drop me a PM if you need any advice re. suppliers for blanks / good screenprinters etc. Although I work in web development, I've also helped organise physical merch supplies for a few of the record labels that we've built websites for over the years & have a few contacts that have proven to be consistently awesome in this department (& I know from experience that it can be a bit of a headache sorting this stuff out!)

Of course, you may have the logistics sorted already - but feel free to ask if you need

No I'd definitely appreciate some advice/recommendations. I have the graphics nearly ready to go, just need benecol to add a website tagline to them and then I'll be in the position to order.

I used glasgow badges for my bags at Darren's recommendation. I think I'd be looking to order something like 20 T shirts in Small, Medium and Large to start with

Have you ever attempted to build a Civil War Big Muff? How similar would it be to a Ram's head muff?

Very subtile differences. Ram's Head will be louder and the tone stack is slightly more scooped.
