I would wire it for a tube rectifier and drop some AlNiCo speakers in it. Poor Man's Super Reverb... minus the reverb... and the vibrato. Great sounding amp though.

i dunno, i dont really wanna mess with the amp. i might mod it for more volume (i heard modding it to blackface does this but ill do more research) and thats about it. i dunno about the rectifier tube. im gonna try to keep this amp as stock as possible.

I dunno, I think the Bassman offers things the Super Reverb doesn't. Pure unbridled power for one, and it can do a loud clean tone which the SR isn't the best at.

mine gets pretty loud but it starts breaking up kinda early i guess. i would like it to be louder if possible.

I just like tube rectifiers more... tube compression... lower plate voltage... earlier break-up. To each his own.
