I prefer the DD-5 over the DD-6. They don't make them any more but you can find them on ebay. Then you can pick up an external momentary switch from GC.

) once again for the no shipping, no tax, 45day return policy. the dd20 is obviously more feature packed, but i just don't have the space for it, not to mention the fact that i'd never use most of it. having memory and tap will be cool things to play around with (the placement on my pedalboard won't allow much of that at shows). if i discover that i can't live without them, i'll find out if this is a convenient enough setup. as it stands, the dd6 is the most feature packed for that price and in that size.
i'll poast pics of the new board setup when this stuff arrives. thanks for all of the advice, guys.

I have a DD-6 and Fish n' Chips as well. WE'RE LIKE BROTHERS
i think this will be the third fish 'n chips i own. i should stop selling it whenever i do a slash 'n burn of my gear. looking forward to the new setup, though. i even got covers for the amp & cab finally.

i almost got the gnarly tote bag for it, but i figured i'd rather spend it on pedals.

okay, so here's the new pedals now in the board:
and
here's a video. the audio is ok (other than my playing), but the video is shite. the mic on the camera is also crap, so you just hear it flubbering when i activate the eq. whatevs. there wasn't much time, but i've been procrastinating on this shit lately.

I've got 2 DD-5s in my line.
They're soopah rare in this country and can go for up to a ridiculous $220 or so in retail shops, but I found one (the day it got listed) for just over half of that while off to check out the Cusack Screamer today and I picked it up.
Yopps, the tap-temp function and reverse are really up my alley as far as what I need/want in a delay, but the overall tone soon brought me back to my bright and digitallic days of DD-3 Dave Evans noodling, which is now quite hard to tolerate in the face of my Maxon AD-900. Analogue delay reigns supreme in my personal tonebook and I now know what I'll have to do to make this one a happy keeper on my board, and hopefully it's going to be cheap:
![Image](http://www.moollon.com/img/product/cs_dd2.gif)
Teh boss told me that they've done less that a dozen of these conversions, but it's probably because it normally costs so much (who would bother?).Tape Echo simulator switch on the back really cuts the high end of the signal for a more natural soundng delay, Moollon's own buffer is used in place of the stock one, although the E/D function is not retained. I'm going to see if they could put a tap tempo right on the body as well. We'll see.
I guess I'm a part of the DD-5 Klub now. ![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

I did indeed love my DD-5 when I had it, it's a fucking awesome delay. Only bad thing was the Dry sound being in the reverse sound too, but I never really use reverse delay. I thought the DD-20 was super cool too but I'm a DMM + knob turning man nowadays. I love that thing.

I'm considering selling off the DD-6 (when I fookin' get it) for a DD-5 or maybe DD-3, those trails bug the crap outta me.

i love my dd6.It really is a great versatile pedal.
But as a responsible musician, i have to get my hands on a DMM.

Do DD-5 with bone nut. Tap tempo with all dem modes is well good for your casa bonita stuffs.

It was kinda bought to replace my MDX when playing live, but since I resoldered the effect volume pot, I've had zero problems with it.
So it's looking the DD-6 could be a pedal in it's own right, mainly using the reverse and hold features, both of which are a little more low spec on the DD-5. Ahhhhh I dunno, I'll see what happens I guess.
I didn't know you had a DD-5, Mike?

I had one a while back, it's sold now (I sold it after I got the DD20), otherwise I'd have sent it to you to try out innit.
I'll dig up some pics.
