Agh. I was worried about this. Shouldn't be hard to make it into a string thru, though. It's going to give you tons of better sustain anyway. I really want use one just like that for my '51.

yeah, I agree for the sustain, it will be like my tele, and I love it.
but at first I wouldn't make holes in the body...
like you said, it shouldn't be hard to make it string through.
