For something that price the petrol makes it not so worth the drive.

yeah but our roads are small our petrol(gas) is expensive and our main roads stocked full of cars and speed cameras. London is a bitch to get into and out.

There is a reason people don't drive far in this country.

It's more like 10 hours each way.

Where's Kim?

I'm pretty sure Kim plays bigger stages than me. We play small to medium sized venues, and on the medium sized venues everything is mic'd/DI'd in the case of the bass. We've played with the Trace Elliott dicks who mush all over the rest of the band. I'm sorry - if the bass is louder than the guitar AND vox - then you're a dickhead and your band is shit.
right on. i agree that too much bass guitar in the mix will sound rotten in most cases. we must've just played ridiculously loud as there's no way jim ever kept up unless he was pushing at least a 4x10", and the 8x10" was just dreamy.

I'm just the type of person that likes to hear the drums and bass above everything else and that guitars and vocals sound be further down. But I've always been more a fan of electronic music production than guitar based stuff.

Keep it, cabs are useful, and with those speakers in it as well...

Just store it in a massive stack like on those pics.
